You can search for a study program in the ‘Home’ page of The Study Abroad Portal or the ‘School and Study Programs’ page in the search widget just by filling out the field of study, type of program or/and country.
If you want more information about a program, you have two options:
• Fill out the Contact Program Director Form. (This is available in specific programs).
• Send us an enquiry through our Contact Form. Make sure to mention the program you’re interested in!
Once you’ve filled out any of the forms above we might contact the university and send them your contact details, so they could possibly get in touch with you to answer all your questions.
A webinar is a web-based seminar that is transmitted live via the Internet directly to your computer. It is just like attending a seminar but from your home, office or class.
The Study Abroad Webinars are completely free to join.
You simply click on the Webinar of your choice in our ‘Upcoming Webinars’ section and fill out the questions in the registration form on the right side. After registering you will get a confirmation email with the access link to the webinar.
You only need a computer with speakers/headset and access to the Internet. You will receive a confirmation email and only then will be asked to install a plug-in (from ‘WebEx’). Automatically accept the installation.
After you register to the webinar of your choice, you will then be sent a confirmation link with the password. (Don’t worry if you lose it as we will send it again in a reminder email just before the Webinar starts).
To access the webinar just click the link 5 – 10 minutes before the webinar starts, follow the instructions and you will be in the live session!
In case you do not receive a confirmation email, check your spam folder. If you find the email there, remember to add our domain to your approved emails so you can receive all the updates on the webinar.
If it is not in your spam folder, send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org, mentioning your name and webinar of interest. This way we can check that the registration got through.
No prior installation is required. After clicking the link only a small plug-in is installed, secure and firewall-friendly, after which you can access the webinar.
In some particular cases and depending on your computer’s configuration you might have to download a secure software.
No, the audio is streamed via the Internet through the speakers of your computer (headset recommendable).
As our webinars are live and fully interactive we encourage you to ask our presenters any questions on their presentations. During the session you can submit your questions through the Q&A-panel on the right of the screen. Let´s make it interactive, fun and a useful learning experience for all!
