Students going abroad to Ireland to study have reported the highest satisfaction with their international study experience. The universities in Ireland were recognized for their community atmospheres, innovative programs and multicultural and diverse atmospheres. In particular Maynooth University just outside Dublin received top ranking for the most satisfied students. National University of Ireland, the University of Limerick and the University College Cork received Excellent International Student Satisfaction Awards as well.
It is not surprising given that Ireland has such a long history in educational excellence. The Irish government invests over 782 million euros every year in research at Irelands higher educational institutions and Trinity College Dublin has just been ranked in the top 100 in the world according to Times Higher Education subject ranking 2015-2016. Ireland also has a thriving economy with many of the world´s biggest and best companies with key strategic research facilities.
