The Industrial Engineering & Management (IE&M) Bachelor (BSc) prepares you for managing ‘technology’ companies. These include companies that make (high) tech products or use technology for their production or have complex logistics or a combination of these.
You might get a leading position in manufacturing, logistics, purchasing or sales and marketing. Alternatively you might start your own company. Through group work you learn how to be effectively part of a management team. The combination of courses and projects let you immediately apply theories in practice. From the start of year two you will do all projects for real companies giving you working experience in an early stage.
Eindhoven and The Netherlands are a good location for studying industrial engineering & management. The Brainport area around Eindhoven has hundreds of technology companies. Eindhoven is an attractive student city. Almost everybody in The Netherlands is able to speak English and open to communicate with people from abroad. After your study you might do a master or take a job around Eindhoven or elsewhere.
